This is a simple message to all those terrified people who flocked to the packed beaches today – you are taking the piss. If you can crowd on the beach then you can go to work. If you take your children on those beaches make sure they go to school as soon as the school opens. And for those teachers and train drivers sunning themselves you especially get back to work and join those of your colleagues who have elected to brave the risks, such as they are.

Economically the country has to get back to work and quickly otherwise there will be no social benefits hand outs for anyone as there will be no money in the pot. And finally let grandparents look after grandchildren if they wish – they are old enough to have a mind of their own.
